This is disappointing.

Their website says "We have 90 years of experience you can trust!" I guess that does not include trusting them to NOT eliminate rights.

Here is a link to see who supported the proposition.

For those who worry about the potential financial consequences, considering Wolfe's being a small player:

First of all, I understand your concern, but at the same time, it is the small roles that come together (with their money) that gave the proposition such power. It was a combination of larger institutions and the "grass-roots." I think businesses such as Wolfe's and El Coyote (in Hollywood) need to realize that these actions, while in the past, have consequences. These consequences affect a large population of people in a way that cannot be justified. Such businesses have to understand that they cannot put such large financial support, as Wolfe's has, behind a proposition that eliminates rights. Like a lot of businesses know, gay money is just as green as straight money. By continuing to patronize such places, we are giving any small family-owned business an "out" to financing such actions, actions that perpetuate discrimination. It is not a matter of simply being able to say, ok this passed, and while I'm upset, it is in the past. There ARE people saying "get over it and move on." However, I'm willing to bet those same people are not gay. They have their option to gain all of the rights and privileges associated with marriage. This makes me even more grateful for those of the hetero community who stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community during this struggle.

Since this measure passed, I have overheard numerous people who obviously feel like this measure affirms that being gay is wrong and that "God will strike them down." They talk about how the measure needed to pass to protect the children. They loudly discuss how repulsive "the gays" are. No one says anything. The LGBTQ community is not a protected class, and this measure set us back even more from becoming one. This proposition seems to have empowered those who see gays and lesbians as second class citizens.

Furthermore, given the large amount of support for the proposition, Wolfe's may not be hit as hard as you think they will. Considering I believe one of the donors has ties to the Mormon church, they may even become a martyr for their cause. That is a chance I am willing to take.

My intent is to send a message to a business that they will have to rely on the financial support of those who share their beliefs in the elimination of gay rights. They can't have it both ways.
