Thanks everyone for all the support in so many ways.
This site WAS to make people aware of The UK Home Office attempting to deport Pegah Emambakhsh. She now has the right to stay and enjoy a life of security here.
If she were to have been sent back to Iran she would have faced severe persecution, even death.
Pegah Emambakhsh is an Iranian national who sought asylum in the UK in 2005, as she faces persecution in Iran as a lesbian.
Homosexuality is illegal in Iran, punishable by torture, flogging or even execution. Pegah escaped from Iran after her lover was arrested, tortured and it is feared sentenced to death for conducting homosexual acts. Pegah's father was also arrested, tortured and interrogated about her whereabouts.
