LADIES AND GENTS!!! ATTENTION ATTENTIONN!!
On January 10th 2009, Ilana and Taryn created a petition on Facebook for a Canadian Twilight convention. They realized that every Twilight convention planned so far is taking place in the US and Europe. What about Canada?! They, along with other Canadians, are huge fans of the series and movie and think they deserve one as well. Taryn and Ilana wanted to be the first to do something about it.
In less than 24 hours they got over 200 people and after two weeks already hit an astonishing 1000 group members.They’ve now reached over 4000 members and have been featured on over 30 Twilight fansites/blogs (including Twilight Lexicon, Twilighters Anonymous and Bella and Edward.com among many others). They’re currently working on a YouTube channel, so be sure to check the blog for updates!
