The Department of Theatre Studies will open its 2009-10 season with a student performance of Anton Chekov’s classic drama “Uncle Vanya” beginning Nov. 13-14 and continuing Nov. 19-21. All performances will take place at 8 p.m. in Sternberger Auditorium, located in Founders Hall.

The Department of Physics will host a program about the gas planet Jupiter on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Joseph M. Bryan Jr. Auditorium.

Guilford College The next event in this year's Bryan Series is a talk by Paul Krugman at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, at War Memorial Auditorium in Greensboro.
