
Habitat for Humanity Saturday was the final day of the Carter Work Project, and 166 families in Thailand, China, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam enjoyed first meals inside their new Habitat homes. Many thanks to all the volunteers who participated in the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project: Mekong Build 2009!

The sound of drums, the art of an elephant and speeches from former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and Habitat CEO Jonathan Reckford officially opened the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in a day filled with fireworks and rain in Chiang Mai.
