In Half the Sky city, Luoyang, Henan, a large number of sacrificial horse burial pits have recently been discovered. Horses and wagons were apparently buried right along with their owners to indicate the status of the deceased.

just entered in America's Giving Challenge, which gives us a chance to
win cash prizes! To win, between now and November 7th we have to get the
most unique donations to our cause. We
can also win daily awards of $1,000 and $500 if we can get the most

WILL: This was an excursion day to the International Bazaar and Marketplace where some of the recent violence took place. We had a Foreign Affairs woman accompany us on the trip as well as some of the institute’s workers as additional eyes and translators for us.
