Rosalind My father was an american soilder and all my life I knew he had a daughter who was born in Nagasaki Japan, and I have been trying to find her....would someone or could someone help me or tell me how I could go about finding her....my father asked me to help find her but he died before we could begin but he did say he had her birth certificate and said her name was Amanda kimeo tada....and Ii would love to find her and not go about the rest of my life knowing i have a sister and possible nieces and nephews somewhere in this world....

Mika I'm finnish, but I think I have halvsie relatives. Akeo Watanabe, founder conductor of Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and Chujo Watanabe, a journalist had finnish mother and japanese father. Their mother Siiri Watanabe was my grandmothers cousin. I've tried to find If there is still my relatives living in japan, but I haven't found any so far. I hope someone in halvsie community can help me with this search.

Stacy Kurokawa Cooke Any suggestions for good names for a boy born to a Canadian mom and Japanese dad, and who will probably be educated in the Japanese school system? Don't say "Ken" or "Leo"...I'm looking for a Japanese name that sounds cool in English. I like Joji but the meaning is second son and the kanji is really complicated my husband said.
