Handmade Soap Coach Back in the early 1900's French chemist Rene Maurice Gattefosse burned his hand while working in a perfumery. To ease the pain he plunged his hand into the nearest cold liquid. This liquid just so happend to be none other than LAVENDER OIL. His hand healed astonishingly quick and with little scarring. Impressed by... what happened he vowed to find out the medicinal properties of other essential oils.

Handmade Soap Coach Lavender is not just good for soapmaking....it is a great addition to ICE CREAM! If you decide to substitute dried lavender flowers with fresh use less as the flavor of lavender is as powerful as rosemary.

Handmade Soap Coach
Create a luxurious lotion from scratch with La Shonda Tyree. Learn about proper product labeling and product preservatives. You’ll make four bottles to take home. Create your own custom fragrance or use one already made. Then further customize your lotion with color. Please wear an old t-shirt or shirt and bring one 16... oz. Pyrex measuring cup and one 32 oz. Pyrex measuring cup to class. Materials Fee: $20 due to the instructor on night of class.

Experience hands-on with making melt and pouring soap, and observe making soap from scratch by the cold process method. U...nleash your creativity by customizing your soaps with color, fragrance and other additives such as herbs. Watch out…you can become addicted to soap making but at least it’s a clean addiction! Please bring an old t-shirt/shirt, two plastic containers and one 16 oz Pyrex measuring cup to class. Note: $25 materials fee due to instructor at the beginning of class.
