We are recruiting volunteers to learn Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance in order to participate in THRILL THE WORLD at Hangman’s House of Horrors on Saturday night, October 24, 2009. Last year, over 4,000 dancers participated from ten different countries! Everyone is welcome - the only requirements are that you 1) must learn the dance, 2) wear some kind of zombie costume for the performance and 3) have a great time!! Our goal is 500 dancers at Hangman's on October 24th.

In 2009, Hangman's House of Horrors celebrates its 21st year as the top charity-benefiting haunted house in the WORLD! To date, the house has entertained over half a million patrons and donated more than $1.6 million to local charities!
Hangman’s is recognized nationally as a premiere haunted attraction, having been named as one of the top in the nation by MSNBC, featured on the Travel Channel’s “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions” and highlighted as one of the country’s “Halloween Hot Spots” by Family Circle magazine. Most recently, the house was voted “Best Place to get Spooked” by the readers of Fort Worth Magazine and named as a “Best of Fort Worth” tourist attraction by the U.S. Local Business Association. The annual production involves over 1000 adult volunteers and 200 companies who contribute time, talent and supplies to this tremendously successful endeavor.
Hangman's is located at Interstate 30 and Forest Park Boulevard, one mile west of downtown Fort Worth. This season, the house will open on Friday, September 25th, and be open selected evenings through Saturday, October 31st. (Visit www.hangmans.com for exact dates and times.)
The haunted tour includes four separate attractions—the main haunted house and three side attractions. Additionally, the three-acre property is transformed into an exciting festival area featuring live bands, midway rides, carnival games, karaoke, novelties, concessions and more. In 2008, major sponsors included NBC5-TV, KSCS Radio, Coca-Cola, Coors, Valero and Blockbuster Video.
Hangman's is especially proud of its reputation as a family-oriented “haunted funhouse" that specializes in disorienting, playful scares. Hangman’s has been ranked as the number one haunted attraction in the area by the Dallas Morning News, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Fort Worth Magazine. "Hangman’s is legendary. There’s literally something waiting around each corner and behind every door. At least 100 characters bound out from all directions. The presentation is opulent!” said the reviewer from the Morning News. The Star-Telegram concurred, “Readers had no problem choosing Hangman’s House of Horrors as their favorite place to get the willies. Not only is it in support of a very worthy cause, but the imagination and obvious hard work that goes into it is way beyond the average haunted house.”
Net proceeds from Hangman’s House of Horrors benefit local charities, all of which are non-profit 501c-3 organizations. Hangman’s 2009 beneficiaries include the American Cancer Society, a Wish with Wings, Cenikor Foundation, Rocky Top Therapy Center and SafeHaven of Tarrant County. All funds remain in the area for local programs and services.
