Elizabeth Cadena Thanks for the grammar flash cards! I will use them right away for much needed grammar lessons. I tend to color code the parts of speech it seems to help my ESl students grasp concepts of speech better. Another helpful hint is too cutout and glue the flashcards to colored construction paper. Keep nouns, verb, etc the same colors. Then laminate all of your flashcards for other lessons.

Hey! I'm a 3rd year university student working towards becoming a teacher. I recently did a presentation on whether or not teachers should have Facebook. It is obviously a controversial topic as students may come across inappropriate photos, comments, and such. I am looking for opinions from teachers on this subject..., whether it be pros or cons of a teacher using social networking sites, such as Facebook. Thanks, great resources by btw.Read More

Hey Matt...thanks for the comment! I agree that some teachers should not have have a Facebook page...then again...some teachers should not be teachers. That's all I have to say about that :) Keep it real and keep it clean!

Just to clarify...I feel that if a teacher has things on their profile to hide or have inappropriate photos, they probably aren't the best role model for their students to begin with. I've seen way too many "teachers" pretend to pour their heart out during the school day and then at night fall into their sinful desires. This double standard is very... Read More sad. My advice would be to stand firm to the rock that is Jesus Christ and He will guide and direct your steps to a healthy and fulfilling life, both in the classroom and out in the world, and will ultimately be pleasing to God and to your students.
