Teens Online is looking for new members! We're accepting applications from teens to join Teens Online, TeenLinks' teen advisory group for this next school year. We meet once a month from September through May. Please point any interested teens to the online application found via the TeenLinks homepage. Teens must be in grades 8 - 12 and residents of Hennepin County.

Hi Barbara - thanks for your note. We have not advertised on facebook but we did put notes on our catalog and website alerting users the page. Beyond that it's all been viral (we are a big library tho).

Hi Jenn -
This is a custom FBML application. Page owners are allowed to add two of these applications to their pages. The catalog search widget is the other on our page. They are not too hard to create if you know some basic HTML. The trick with the chat widget is that Flash is not allowed except after users click on a link or image. So the widget as it appears after the page loads is really an image that launches the Flash chat when clicked. Let me know if you would like more info.
