Please try copying and pasting the full link you received into your address bar. Some email clients will separate the link onto several lines, so be sure to copy the entire link. Please note that any of the email addresses associated with your account can be used as login email addresses. You can add or edit your email addresses from the Settings tab of the Account page. If you are having trouble accessing an existing account on the site, do not create another account, as this is a violation of our Terms of Use and may delay resolution of the issue.

Facebook sends a notification to every email address associated with an account when someone has been able to register one of the addresses on the account. This happens when a person clicks on a link sent to the email address when creating a new account, or when adding the address to an existing account.

If you still own the email address in question, you can add it back to your account by going to the "Settings" tab on the Account page and following the same process. You may want to change the password for the email address, as someone else may have been able to access it in order to confirm the contact change.

If you no longer own the address, you will not be able to add it back to your account. If you still own the email address but are unable to access it, please contact your email provider for assistance with regaining access to the address.

No. After you graduate you will still have access to Facebook. However, we strongly recommend that you keep your contact email address current as it is the only way we can get in touch with you. If your contact email address is not current, you can update it from the "Settings" tab on the Account page.

You may also add a work network to your account if your organization utilizes an email address that we support. You can add this affiliation from the "Networks" tab of the Account page.

You can submit a name change request through the "Name" section of your Account Settings page. Please note that Facebook reviews each name change request that is submitted. Due to the volume of requests we receive, your request may not be processed immediately.

Please note that Facebook account names must adhere to the following authenticity standards:

• Your full first and last name must be listed. Nicknames can be listed if they are a variation of your first or last name, but only in the format "First Name ‘Nickname’ Lastname."
• Accounts are for personal use only. To represent a celebrity, business or brand, please create a Facebook Page. Pages are for representing a real public figure, artist, brand or organization, and may only be created by an official representative of that entity. • Professional and religious titles are not allowed in account names.
• You can list your maiden name as your alternate name on the Account Settings page. Please note that account names that include "was," "nee" and "formerly" are not allowed.
• Accounts can represent one person only. Accounts representing groups, families or couples are not allowed.

Facebook reviews every name change request before it is approved. If your name change request is rejected, it could be because our systems have mistakenly prevented the change.
