Photos that violate our Terms of Use are removed. Our terms prohibit photos that contain nudity, drug use and other obscene content. Photos that attack another individual or group are prohibited as well.

We only remove a group or event if it violates our Terms of Use. We do not permit groups and events that are created with the sole purpose of advertising or promoting a product or service. Also, we do not permit groups and events that attack or harass an individual or group.

Group and Event administrators are responsible for the content in their Group or Event. If content violates our Terms of Use and is removed, the administrator will receive a Home page warning informing them that they have violated the Terms of Use and that the content has been removed. Multiple warnings and/or the posting of extremely inappropriate material may result in the disabling of the administrator’s account.

Unfortunately, for technical and security reasons, users cannot view the removed content.

Facebook reviews every report we receive to determine whether or not the content violates our Terms of Use. Any content that is considered obscene, violent, malicious or otherwise offensive will be removed. If you received a warning about an item that was taken down, then we have established that it violated these terms.

Facebook encourages all users to utilize the "Report" links when they find abusive content. In most cases, you will find a "Report" link below the piece of content. Selecting this link takes you to a form where you can specify the type of abuse and make a detailed report. Facebook investigates these reports and makes a determination as to whether or not the content should stay up. All abuse reports on Facebook are confidential.
