You can find the latest versions of the Facebook apps by going to our Facebook for Mobile page or visiting your phone's app store (ex: the iPhone app store, Google Play). From here, you can see what's new with the app and install the latest version.

If you replied Join or Maybe to a public event, you can check in from your phone or tablet within 3 hours of the event's start time. You can also check other people into the event during that time.

If there's an address listed for the event, you can see it in your list of nearby places and check in from there.

Guests who've responded Going or Maybe can check themselves and other people into an event within three hours of the event’s start time.

People who are checked in can see all of the event's info, including its Wall, unless the event has been removed. If the event creator removes someone from the guest list, that guest will no longer be checked in and won’t be able to see all of the event's info.

If something's not working with the Facebook for iOS app, first make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the app. To do this, go to the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and update the app. If there's a newer version of the Facebook app you don't have yet, it'll be listed there for you to download.

If this doesn't solve your issue, check out the known issues.
