When you click to update a status, question, photo, link, or video, you will see an option called "Everyone." Click on the small drop-down carrot and select "Customize." Yes, you can merge duplicate Pages and Places. Please note you will only be able to merge the Page or Place with fewer likes into the one with more likes. To do so:
- Go to the Page or Place with the most likes. This will be the one you'll keep.
- Click the Edit Page button in the top right corner.
- From the left sidebar, select Resources.
- Click the Merge duplicate Pages link. This link will only appear if you admin two Pages with similar names.
- A dialogue will show Pages and Places you admin that qualify to be merged. Select the Page(s) you wish to merge. If you're merging a Place and a Page, they must have the same address information.

The Recommend This Place box can’t be removed from place pages. If you’re a page admin, you can control which public recommendations appear on your page. To hide or report a recommendation post, just hover over it and click 'x'. You can see a full list of public recommendations for your place by clicking the See All link in the Recommendations box.

Profiles (timelines) represent individuals and must be held under an individual name, while Pages allow an organization, business, celebrity, or band to maintain a professional presence on Facebook. You may only create Facebook Pages to represent real organizations of which you are an authorized representative.
In addition, Pages are managed by admins who have personal Facebook profiles (timelines). Pages are not separate Facebook accounts and do not have separate login information from your profile (timeline). They are merely different entities on our site, similar to how Groups and Events function. Once you have set up a Page within your profile (timeline), you may add other admins to help you manage this Page. People who choose to connect to your Page won't be able to see that you are the Page admin or have any access to your personal account.

There is a link there to Publish Your Page. This will instantly set your Facebook Page to published and make it visible to all users. You can also publish your Page from the Edit Page section.
You can unpublish your Page at any time. Setting your Facebook Page to unpublished will hide it from all users, including people who like your Page. Your Page will only be visible to the administrators of the Page while it in unpublished. Your Page will not be visible to users until you set it back to published.
