This is the reason for the Season, helping others, helping our neighbors who are in need. When we stop for a moment and take a look around we suddenly realize that we are so abundantly blessed, we more clothes than we need, we have freezers filled with more food than we need, we move about our city in the privacy of nice warm in winter, cool in ... Read Moresummer auto's. We lay down and sleep secure, not having to hold tight to the few possessions that we have left. So come on good people, brighten up our community by showing that you care and are concerned about those who are going through hardtimes. Support the Help the Homeless Program. Have a great Holiday Season and may all of your wishes and dreams come true. When we help others it make us feel good on the inside too. It's beinging to look alot like Christmas everywhere I go.

Marie Santos Campbell Do you have walkathons any where else in the USA or just in Washington DC? I support your cause, but I don't live there. I have seen the TOO MANY homeless people there and I will NEVER forget it. It's embedded on my heart.

Remember the Christmas story of Joseph and Mary being turned away from the entrance of the Inn and being told to go to the rear to the stable to give birth to baby Jesus. During this holiday season, please our neighbors who are going through hard times, when we bless others we get blessed by helping the homeless commu...nity. God loves a cheerful giver. If you really are not happy giving to the needy then keep your blessing to yourself. What we give out we recieve in return. None of us has anything that we did not receive. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.Read More

We come from PA for the walk, this will be our 3rd year and we wish we could get a walk organized in our area to help the homeless. This is such a HUGE problem all over the US. My daughter (age 15) is really big into helping homeless people, this year we are going to try to have blankets, hats, scarves, mittens, and ...hopefully some food items donated and go drop them off to the homeless of the Harrisburg, PA area if anyone wants to help out, please send me a message! We look forward to seeing you all on Nov. 21.Read More
