Madeleine Baldwin i find it incredibly saddening that retailers destroy unused clothing and i find it even more disturbing that many people think thats ok. Its a waste of money for the company, a waste of clothing that could go to a good cause, and just another way to prevent it from being sold at a lower price once its out of season. S...eems to me like no one benefits. Shame on you, H&M, for your selfish, unjustifiable behavior.

Adam I work for H&M at the flagship store in Los Angeles and we've always been told to destroy the merchandise we're throwing away first. It's not just a NY thing.
