Snippets about the sad lives of 220 young children who died at the Home of the Innocents a century ago emerged during a special commemoration Sunday afternoon at Cave Hill Cemetery, as two statues were unveiled at their unmarked graves amid solemn prayers, songs and a re-enactment.
