Growing up in Holland I always heard from the community that Hope was an open-minded college who was filled with Christians who were open and willing to learn about the world around them.
Tonight I heard you banned Dustin Lance Black, screenwriter of Milk from your campus. I could not have been more shocked and saddened....
Letting someone speak in a class or in a round table does no harm; only opens doors to discussions and loving of ones neighbor. Yet today you took another road and now the national media is calling you anti-gay and anti-diversity.
