well I waited for the HTC Hero and finally picked my phone up a couple of days ago. First day on it was great, figuring things out, playing with the UI, adding apps, setting up my contacts etc. Next day not so much, every second call I made, I couldn't hear the recipiant but they could hear me (hardware issues). When... you made a call the screen blacks out and you have to press the home button to bring up the dial pad again, which I didn't like. When I recieved calls sometimes when I had the phone to my ear it would randomly go back into the contact list, bring up a something different and would disconnect my call. Being a business owner I can't afford to continue with disconnected calls so I returned the phone.
