Project Hope will be having a breakfast on World AIDS DAY, December 1st. Please come and invite your family, friends, facebook buddies, etc. We will be sharing the Impact of AIDS , Project Hope around the world, and offering an opportunity to join in the fight. THE HIV/AIDS CRISIS
AIDS has killed more than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007, and an estimated 33.2 million people worldwide are living with HIV as of 2007, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history.
Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 2 million lives in 2007, of which about 270,000 were children. In 2005, AIDS claimed 2 million lives in Sub-Saharan Africa alone. [source: wikipedia.org]

In Uganda, the tides are turning in regards to the spread of HIV/AIDS and, with continued and expanded awareness, support and education, the future is bright. This crisis WILL end. It MUST end. And WE are in a place to impact that change.
You won't want to miss this night! Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the ongoing work of Watoto to rescue orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda and raise them up as future leaders. Watoto was founded in 1994 and currently provides holistic care for approximately 1,800 orphans in 3 Watoto Villages in Uganda.
