Monday 8 - Sunday 14 March 8pm

The award winning, Edinburgh Fringe sell out and self proclaimed mind reader who can't read minds Chris Cox will perform his 2009 Edinburgh show Mind Over Patter, a selection of previously unseen feats to frazzle your brains. Off the back of a successful UK tour Chris Cox will ast...ound, astonish and make you say the ‘wow’ word with his mongrel hybrid mix of mind reading related nonsense.

This year he'll be attempting to turn you into a mind-reader, making the day to day more magical and an imperfect world perfect in a warm, entertaining, engaging, funny, jaw-dropping and pretty damn amazing show that'll make you love Cox.

"Hugely entertaining" The Observer
'Stunning.... has other magicians scratching their heads.' The Times
"Lovably, geeky & deceptively talented." Time Out
"Properly impressive...you'll be gobsmacked" Chortle
"Funny & Amazing" The Sunday Times
"Mesmorising" **** Edinburgh Evening News
"Pure Magic" ***** Broadway Baby

Michael Marshall Chris - cheers again for signing the T Shirt in the pub after TAM, was a pleasure to have your name there along with all of the other excellent skeptic luminaries. Your fans can witness/win said prize T Shirt, should they so wish, here:

Misha Anker

Misha Anker Hello, here's the long story :) (well, longer than twitter could cope with) arrived in London to see Minchin live, promptly got lost on the District line (my map didn't say there were three different end points) saw a man who looked like an owl, which amused me for a bit, then saw a man who looked like Watson but witho...ut a beard, amused me some more, then saw someone who looked like you, also mildly amusing when stuck on a tube train.

Anyway, made it to Hammersmith without too much more bother, found other people and thought nothing more of it, waiting outside venue later on, remembered this and mentioned it to a friend, then as you went past I tapped her on the arm and said to her "oh look, there's that bloke off the tube again," to which she had to correct me and point out that actually it /was/ you that time.

Not really that interesting, but unless you were on the district line at about 5 ish and asleep, then you've got a doppleganger somewhere :)

Some people have all the luck. I’m on the train heading back from a weekend seeing my family in Bristol and as if to push me to write rather than watch The Wire, I saw a perfect example of good and bad luck at the station. ...

Pontificate was the word I needed yes... good spot Andrew. Love that Smile quote. Today I also learnt that 50% of our sense of happiness is genetic. That I find interesting
