Inner Sunset Neighborhood Group Paul: Good news on bike lanes on 7th Avenue. The 3-year legal hold-up is at least partially fixed after a judge allowed several streets in the City, including 7th Avenue, to stripe for bike lanes (in theory, they could be removed at a later date).

Inner Sunset Neighborhood Group PARK(ing) Day brings its bi-weekly Inner Sunset goodness once more THIS Sunday. Come help turn a parking space into a cute little park. So much fun! Early birds meet outside Arizmendi at 8:45am and find a space on 9th Av near the farmers' market.

...hits another homerun!
Time:8:45AM Sunday, November 29th
Location:Somewhere on 9th Av, preferably near the farmers' market

Inner Sunset Neighborhood Group Paul: Traffic calming news -- thanks to efforts by Inner Sunset Park Neighbors (http://www.inner-sunset.org) and local residents, a new stop sign is slated to go in on 7th Avenue, by Newcomer High school, between Irving and Judah.

Paul - agreed, the crosswalks are great. I didn't realize you had asked and been denied the stop signs. I appreciate what you're doing on our behalf! (sucks that muni's opinion is more important than pedestrian safety though...)

Inner Sunset Neighborhood Group Did you attend Saturday's Inner Sunset clean-up event? Participants cleaned from at least 5th Av to Funston and Lincoln to Kirkham, leaving the streets sparkling and community stronger than ever. If you went, share your memories (and photos?)...

Inner Sunset Neighborhood Group Paul: In addition to the possible wine bar at 555 Irving (which would be in Unit #1, the smallest (919 sq.ft) of the 3 retail spots), the corner unit will be housing a tattoo parlour. Unit #2 (977 sq.ft.) is still not leased. And in the retail space at 1315-27 7th Ave, a "high end" spa is slated to open (I'm not sure i...f "spa" is a euphemism for a nail salon!). [Thanks to Ann M. for the neighborhood retail updates]

What is keeping the wine bar from moving from "possible" to "open"? :)

They will be opening ~LOUCKNOW BIRYANI HOUSE~ in the Tasty Curry location in the Inner Sunset. ......Look for an opening in December. 1375 9th Ave. at Judah."
