I have always considered and concluded diligently those whom we have been able to make smile again..However, i always thank the creator for good people, willing students and veteran Attys who understand the law.
Often many focus on what the law says and forget that in securing the rights of the victims we also MORE THAN TOO OFTEN secure the rights of the accused.. the real victim..

Please help this group and give to them...........if one innocent man goes to jail..........it is too many!!!

the sad part is, that the same system who spends so much to put him there......will NOT pay for him to get any DNA testing to prove his innocence. There is just something wrong w/that. It is not right. You do not take someone's life away, and then deny them a chance to prove their innocence. What is the pt? What is the goal? Are we so set on not wanting to admit we are wrong, we will send someone away who is innocent?... See More

It is also another reason NOT to have the death penalty.......what if that person was innocent, like these men, and were not allowed or denied to the chance to prove the system wrong? We are fallable men........we are not the ultimate determiners of other's lives......only God is.ul

Nobody should have to "prove their innocence"!!!!

The concept is to demonstrate they have NOT been proven GUILTY.

All involved in the system need some pointers on elementary logic!... See More

The greatest problem we face is that juries and even legal professionals and judges obviously do not grasp the very, very poorly worded concept of "proof of guilt BEYOND a reasonable doubt."

If juries UNDERSTOOD the concept, EVERY criminal case that didn't come back with a conviction WITHIN MINUTES would come back as an intentionally hung jury (possibly guilty, but insufficient evidence) or acquittal.

I think we should have well-paid professional jurors -- full time or part-time -- who test exceptionally high in critical thinking.

It seems a lot of the practice of law and prosecution involves expertise at inducing people to make incorrect inferences and jump to conclusions. This goes absolutely counter to justice.

"Critical questions [exist] surrounding the forensics used to convict Willingham and to forensic practices still being used in Texas courtrooms.

"We want to find out if anybody else is in prison based on junk science," he said. "It's that simple."

Actual innocence is at issue.

Talk about being screwed. How about your mental health supervisor changing the report she gets from your mental health therapist so that when the judge gets it he wants to throw the book at you.It happened to me a perfectly good meeting between me and my therapist became a ugly, hostile confratation by the time the supervisor got her report to the ... See Morejudge.Me and my therapist were surprised at her report. How many more reports did she alter to get some innocent person thrown into some psych ward. Also the local district attorney seems to be tied into this whole scheme since my case should have been dropped months ago. On top of that i am being defended by a public defender who has such a heavy work load he cant give me the time i need.Stay tuned
