@Dex Beasley:
Internet Explorer on vista/7 is the most secure browser since it runs entirely in a sandbox (browser+plugins). Sandbox (protected mode) has never been broken by hackers, and stability is excellent. How can you call this a failure when you see how crappy is firefox?

Thank you for your help Ian, but IE is too slow for me. I would like to see IE9 more faster and responsive, for now I will stick with Chrome.

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you, but it's a problem with your own computer. IE8 works perfectly fine with XP.

Gina Keeler Well I guess that IE support has no clue how to get rid of IE 8 and reinstall IE7. I never had issues with IE7 but IE8 is totally messing up my computer and my internet searching and I am really ready to find another avenue.

Yep.. and it di dnot help at all.. it continued and actually got worse.. but I found how to uninstall it and get 7 back and it is working perfect now. Sorry but 8 doesn't work well with xp and it does not work well with some online programs like MLS, Realtor.com etc... that are webbased programs that I work on daily. I sure hope 9 doesnt have as many issues..

@ Ahmed,

Proprietary code has nothing to do with it. Opera is closed-source as well, yet they can release preview builds once or twice every week.

But on second thought, IE's infrastructure may make it a bit unwieldy to release nightly builds. Most other browsers are modular enough to run off a self-contained folder without needing an install process, which is something IE can't do, and a nightly release cycle might be rather painful.
