Ipas The work of our colleagues at Ipas Brasil is cited in this fascinating article about why women risk illegal or unsafe abortion in Brazil. Of course, this will only be obvious if you read Portuguese, but if you do, it's fascinating. Really. We promise.

If you haven't yet, if you live in NC, it's a good opportunity to write your town and/or county reps and urge them to protect abortion coverage for employees.

Ipas Here in our home state of North Carolina, women's right to abortion is being systematically stripped away by conservative politicians. Wake County NC's policy about abortion coverage - only in cases of threats to life (not health) or for rape or incest - looks a lot like some conservative patriarchal countries we know.... Check out Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina's blog...

Ipas according to Guttmacher Institute, legal restrictions on abortions do not affect its incidence . . . restrictions do, however, increase the number of abortions that are unsafe.
