Vancouver Art Gallery Expanding Horizons
Open since October 17, 2009 and running until January 17, 2010, Expanding Horizons is an exhibit that celebrates the landscapes of both Canada and the USA. Using both photography and painting, the exhibit shows a wide range of Canadian and American artists.

Interesting Information!
Did anyone else know that Grouse Mountain is staying open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the Olympics? You can ski/snowboard and eat there at anytime during the whole day! Also the Today show is being filmed from there so maybe you can get on TV.

Another Vancouver Canucks Victory!
The Canucks beat the New York Rangers 4-1 yesterday, with a commanding win at GM place. This gives the Canucks their 3rd win in 4 games. It also makes them 2nd place in the Northwest division, and moves them up to 6th place in the Western Conference.

Vancouver Canucks Game!
Tonight the Vancouver Canucks host the Detroit Red Wings, and attempt to win their 4th straight victory. With many players out of the game with injuries, the Canucks will have to work extra hard to beat the Red Wings tonight.
Lets hope Luongo gets another shutout tonight, like he did against the Edmonton Oilers!

Go climb through the trees at UBC!
The UBC Botanical Garden has some amazing features. One of the coolest is the Canopy Walkway. It has small bridges that go through the treetops and climb higher and higher into the trees. It is a really exciting and beautiful sight to see and you should definitely go for a walk there before it gets too cold!
