Ross Can anyone tell me if August 3-11 of this year were reruns? I'm trying in vain to catch up my on-demand listening and I want to skip anything I have heard before. The intro music soundbites are from a while ago, and something seems familiar about the first two of those episodes.

Those dates were new programs, our series on the Lord's Prayer, just one hour a day (since we were on vaction).

Don Kohls

Don Kohls I have long enjoyed Issues, Etc and I know many people do also. I have been trying to get the word out so more people find out about the program. I have been placing adds for Issues,Etc in the "craigslist" under the "groups" in the Manhattan, Ks., area. I did get several responses thanking me for posting the add and... told me how much they enjoyed the program. The adds are free and it would be helpful to get more people to place adds in their area.

Thanks for the idea Don. I just placed one on the Pensacola Craigslist. Any ideas for additional promotion? I would like to get a list of the quotes from various guests that commend the program. I wonder if anyone has transcribed them. Seems to me that posting a recommendation by Dr Montgomery, Dr Rosenbladt, Maier, or any of the other promos over the past few years would only help.

If I'm not mistaken, that blue book looks like a Kolb-Wengert translation of the Book of Concord.

I'm torn between #s 3 and 4. In each clip, some people need protection. In health related issues, people need protection from themselves, lest doctors become order takers. Rev. Curtis mentioned that his parishioners need protection from him which is why the Church year is such a blessing. The Church calendar does provide a shield. It does provide order in an order-less society. I vote for #4.

I'm voting for #4 - As it's the beginning of the church year and I LOVE Advent. It's wonderful to be able to teach my kids about Jesus and his saving grace through the church year at home and in church. I really wanted to listen live as I managed to catch about 20 minutes of the first hour. Unfortunately my vocation as mommy has taken over and we're eating pizza out for dinner so my kids can unwind a little. ;) Keep up the Always Excellent Work!

We need Pastor Matt Harrison to get our Synod back to the Bible. We need to get back to the Word of God or the Synod will die.

Jay Wheeler I just listen this morning to the Thanksgiving program. Excellent. I had forgotten--if I ever knew--the difference between a Pilgrim and a Puritan. Thanks for that whole program!
