The Iowa State football team became bowl-eligible with a 17-10 defeat of Colorado Nov. 14 at Jack Trice Stadium and finished the 2009 regular season with a 6-6 overall record. The 6-6 record does not guarantee the Cyclones a bowl, but it is likely that the team will make a bowl appearance.
