The vaccine will be available to students and employees in the CDC-identified priority groups (which include people under age 24). The Center for Health and Well-Being has acquired a supply of 2009 H1N1 (Swine) Flu Vaccine for campus use. Both the injectable and the nasal mist versions will be available on December 6, 2009, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Memorial Field House.

IUP’s annual tree-lighting ceremony will be held December 2, 2009, at 4:45 p.m. on the East Porch of John Sutton Hall. The Chamber Singers, Brass Ensemble, and East Pike Elementary School Vocal Ensemble will perform. The ceremony’s tree-decorating contest is in its fifth year.

Although Scott McGuire and his TKE fraternity brothers had remained close after graduation, Scott’s diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) brought them all together again.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania The “Porta Hedge” is coming to the Oak Grove! This art exhibit is a mobile, artificial hedge that can be entered by spectators. The hedge appearance is created by recycled Christmas trees on the exterior and living plants and wood finishing on the interior. View it in the Oak Grove on December 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or December 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
