Audrey Sullivan

Audrey Sullivan Does anyone have experience with Xlibris Corporation? I find myself in the difficult position of making a request for my money back on the self publication of my first children's book. I am quickly learning the downfalls of the self publishing industry and had to make a choice between quality control and having my boo...k available for the holiday season. Although sad, I believe that the choice for quality control is the right one. I am both the author and illustrator and would be very receptive to advice.

John Francis Ward

John Francis Ward Always nice to get a favourable review:

thebookbag.co.uk
Fin starts a series in which he is the self-fulfilling prophecy to save the world from the evil machinations of powerful rulers. Difficult to pinpoint which world, when, but none the worse for that. An absorbing read, its simpler style than Phillip Pullman comes highly recommended.
Pearl

Pearl One of our Jacketflap authors, Frances Botham, wrote some fun Christmas
poems and sent them to me to in the hope that I would read them to my
children or family. I am a professional voiceover artist with a passion
for reading children's stories and poems. I decided to record them and
with Frances' permission, posted them o...n YouTube for all to listen to.

This second one is called Pinky Saves the Day.

It's a shame when an institution like Kirkus is rather summarily closed. Some pose questions like, "Had Kirkus run its course in terms of usefullness?" I disagree. So to whom do we turn next?
