JA EATS TORONTO A Korean (but Western-style) cafe located in Korean town at Yonge/Finch. Warm and cozy interior with nice sofas; comfortable place for gatherings. Serves a variety of drinks, ice cream, desserts etc. If you're not up for sweets, they've got some sandwiches and bagels too.

JA EATS TORONTO Been a long time since we last updated, we will update VERY soon (work keeps getting in the way)! Tons of new pictures and new restaurants coming up!

Salsera U guys been to Ethiopian House yet? I posted about it ages ago...tis a great place. Nice ambience, very friendly & relaxed ;)

A Korean eatery located at First Markham Place that specializes in soon-tofu. Alan loves this place now because soon-tofu soup is one of his favorite Korean dishes. With the amount of freebies that comes with every meal, you don't need to worry that you will be hungry with just ordering a tofu soup.

We came here with our friends after the Asian Night It Up festival (previously known as the Night Market) at Metro Square. This is a nice little bubble tea place with free popcorn, foosball, and the standard magazines and games.
Drinks are not bad, and food is decent for a bubble tea place.

We came here with a bunch of co-workers/friends for Summerlicious. The environment was nice, the food was good as expected for an O&B restaurant. Alan hated the super sour cold soup he got for appetizer though, and the tiramisu dessert was extremely disappointing, but everything else was on par with the usual O&B quality.

This cafe is at the top of many "Best brunch places" list on websites related to Toronto. So us being such professionals, we just had to go try it out to see if it really is one of the best places to go for brunch.
Our opinion, it was alright, nice cozy atmosphere, food was ok but not exceptional. I prefer "The School" better.

Located near the Princess of Wales Theatre, we stumbled upon this restaurant after walking around King Street on a weekend. They had an "Urbanlicious" menu, which is another summerlicious extension. We didn't order from it though as we only wanted to grab brunch. The food was decent, but I preferred other brunch spe...cific places like "Petite Dejeuner" more. Perhaps we should try them for dinner next time.

JA EATS TORONTO This is a western style japanese restaurant (similar to Blowfish). Price on the high end, but the interior ambiance is very nice. Food quality is not bad either, the dishes we got were delicous. However, obviously you will get much better variety at a cheaper price at a more "oriental" japanese place like Gal Sushi.

Joyce has been taking baking classes at George Brown culinary school (check out some of her creations here: (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Baked-by-J oyce/68754532557), so we decided to try this restaurant out, which is owned by George Brown and ran by its students, to see how it compares to other restaurants that are n...ot ran by students. They have a fixed menu every night. The ambiance was nice, the food was average, the service was average, but the experience was fairly interesting, so it was worth a visit.
Btw, I asked the student waitress if they actually get paid for working there, and she said no. :-)

Sindy Try L'opera Patisserie et Cafe (5291 Yonge Street, North York). Got lovely cakes at a good price, and the interior is really nice and quiet. I heard one of the staff talking and he seemed to really know about coffee. It just opened so you can stay beyond 10pm.
