Hello my babies, honeys, and ragtime gals, It's my birthday month and yesterday in honor of my birthday month, I received a chocolate bar that cost five dollars. Not too shabby, eh...

Wow, Jenny - Just watched Feels Like Home - brings back so many memories for all of us who grew up on Torrance. What a beautiful song.
Your Mom.

Richard Stephen Meredith Just listened to your song, "Ease into this love". Awesome!

Jenny Goodspeed I'm a Mountain Stage NewSong Contest Northeast Regional Finalist. Happy me. This year you can vote for your favorite 'People's Choice' Finalist. The voting hasn't begun just yet, but I'll be sure to let you know when it does...unless I'm knee deep in the wilds of Cape Breton when that happens and have no access to a computer.

Ourstage.com is website that allows listeners to vote for their favorite songs in a monthly competition. I got lucky this month and won the Folk Channel and advanced to the finals.
If you have an Ourstage account and/or some spare time today, I would love your help. The grand prize is $5,000 and that would help me g...et in the studio to record new songs much sooner than I anticipated. : )
You can vote until midnight tonight. There are 33 genres and you vote in head to head battles - so you if you do try and vote, you may not see me come up right away.
Thanks for any and all help.

The music of longtime valley artist Daniel Hales has been described by The Valley Advocate’s Dan Oppenheimer as “...eccentric, cerebral and eerily beautiful.” He has recently been touring in support of the debut CD from his newest musical project ‘Frost Heaves’ that features a pleasing mix of indie rock, folk, electro...nic, Americana, psychedelic raga pop, and renegade country.
Fresh off her performance in the Emerging Artist Showcase at the 2009 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Jenny Goodspeed combines beautifully crafted lyrics and heart-breaking melodies to create a sparkling fusion of folk, pop, and Americana. Recorder columnist Sheryl Hunter said about Goodspeed, “We are fortunate to live in an area that is rich with talented singer-songwriters and we can now add Goodspeed to this esteemed group."
Jennie McAvoy’s music combines the magic of the traditional ballad singer with the intimacy of the folk-chanteuse. McAvoy has an impeccable ear for collecting songs—and an uncanny knack for making them her own.
Michael Orlen is a singer/songwriter and guitar-picking graduate of Boston's Charles Street music scene of the late 60's who performs in a wide range of styles from ballads, to bluegrass, to ragtime.
P.A.C.E. is located at 41 Union Street in Easthampton and in addition to a theater, has a café that provides meals and goodies during all of their shows. There is a $5 suggested donation for the showcase. For information about the showcase, please email info@coopconcerts.org.

Jenny-
Just watched your video - it was terrific. We were so lucky to see you sing in Maryland and hope to see you more often now that we are on the East Coast. Keep up the good work!
Love, Mom and Russ

Jill Haas Jenny, I love the video of "Under the Ash Tree!" It's been a long time since I heard the "Human Jukebox" of Jonifest '07 sing and play. Great stuff.
