Gail Lake Jordan Grew up in O.G., hung out in Asbury with my friends. There was no better place then Asbury in the 60s, the boards, Cookman Ave. shopping, the Circuit, and the music..

Patricia Northey Sponholtz Jersey Shore- the image of Tillie looks great!

Sandy I have been going to Seaside every summer since the 70's. Still love, love, love it there, good or bad reality show. It is all about the boardwalk and 3 Brothers Pizza. Best in Seaside.

Thank you Domino's Pizza & American Family Insurance for pulling your ad's and not being a part of MTV'S "Real"ity Series "Jersey Shore" The Jersey Shore is alot more
than a boardwalk store selling shirts in Seaside Heights. You didn't show the 2 foot
of snow covering the boardwalk during the winter. Now thats reality !

Miss it all - the people - places & friends from the last 60 years.
Florida can't compare to it.

Taylor happy thanksgiving jersey shore

Laurie Talley Starace Jersey Shore. Had a great Italian dinner tonight at Ava's by the bay on route 37 in Tom's River. It is a BYOB and it has incredible prices.

The Stone Pony is Still smoking!!!! Just seen Joe Grushecky and the House Rockers as well as some good ol boys from Carteret and Port Reading-The Smithereens! The shore is nice and Quite now!!!!! We can finally get in for dinner at anytime. This our best time of the year. The boardwalk is quiet and the beach is OURS!
No more stinking badges until next year!

Paulette As a kid we used to stay at the Atlantic Hotel right on Asbury Avenue. We walked to the beach each day and swam in the ocean making sure not to go past the third barrel! I was NEVER allowed to go into the Palace but used to sneak in from time to time. Loved the Hullaballu, the Homestead Restaurant with the best coff...ee cake for breakfast, Michael's and The Sampler in Ocean Grove for dinner, and the Boardwalk any time.

Toni I remember when Jaws opened up at the Paramont on the boardwalk. All day long airplanes would carry the JAWS banner while we were swimming at the beach. I love the shore especially Lavallette.

Beth Asbury Park was the only place to shop for cool stuff back in the 60's. Miller's shoes, Steinbachs, The little boutique shops. The boardwalk was the best, salt water taffy, the rides, at the Casino and the Palace. The Beautiful Mayfair and St. James movie theatre's. I liked going to them just to see the painted ceiling...s and the architecture not just the movie's. What a great time we had driving around the curcuit. My sister met her husband there. Those were some of the best times of my life.

Janet The movie American Grafetti was a bore compared to the fun we had on the Asbury circuit back in the 60's. Spouth on Kingsley, left on Asbury Ave, then north on Ocean Ave , left on sixth, and back on around.
