Denise don't hold your breath.. Jim Webb along with Warner is afraid of losing their seats and telling the truth to us. The only way we can defeat him and those like him is to vote him out of office. The only answers he and Warner have is what is parroted to them by Harry Reid and Pelosi. We don't even have a president running our country. He delegates to everyone else because of his inexperience and he has no knowledge. 2 years of voting present in the Senate. Give me a break.

Good article Senator. When you some answers try going on Fox News Channel rather MSNBC. This will benifit you in two major ways. 1) It will show have a spine and can the tough questions. 2) More than 5 people will know you are working hard to help the armed forces.

He has no spine. All he has is the directions of talking points given to him by his party and Harry Reid. Wonder how he will like it when he is voted out of office.

LARRY: We do not have REAL campaign finance reform..it was so full of loopholes that they found ways around it. True reform would limit them to a set amount that does not come from corporations, lobbyists or other individuals that they become beholden to. There are many reasons McCain lost the election and lack of money was certainly not one of them.

I would like to know why has it taken so long to get health care reform in this country? Those who DO work hard for a living can't afford adequate coverage. My young daughter and husband paid over $800/month for health care for a family of four until he got a job with the federal government. Friends in Canada are very happy with their health care system despite what we hear about it in the US.

Just don't be hypocritical! Supposedly fighting for the troops on one hand and then voting down funding for the military. DoD spending should be a fixed amount of the GDP - get the politics out of the military funding.

I commend Sen. Webb. If taxpayers from all 50 states are going to fund extended unemployment benefits, then we ALL deserve to have our friends and neighbors covered, regardless of what the unemployment rate in our particular state is - even in states with relatively low ue rates, nobody is hiring, and if you are out of work you are screwed.

Pat, My head is not where it should not be and our Representatives should not be so free with the dollars we must borrow and give away to other countries.

For example, we borrowed money from China, then they had a earthquake and we gave supplies and borrowed money to China. Why? Kinda stupid to borrow money from a country, pay interest on it then give those borrowed dollars back as aide to the same country we borrowed those funds from. Is that logical? Hell no!

I like this "Global Economy". Why is it that America pays most of the UN and NATO cost, pays for all the natural disasters. When the "Globe" starts paying as much as we do then I will start thinking Global Economy.

Senator Webb's task to Burma and former President Clinton's mission to Pyongyang show that the U.S. to rely on p.r.China to solve everything, even humanitarian issues related to N. Korea and Myanmar, is just an illusion! p.r.China is actually unable... and unwilling to help U.S. but just want to gain its own interests and fake 'fame'! Wish Americans no longer be fooled and blackmailed by the Chinese Communist party!
