Nathan Davis Im having a problem with my JL system right now. I purchased a JL 900/5 and a pair of the JL Audio W3v2 8"s along with c2 componets and c2 6x9s. When playing at any volume past 10 the bass drops out completely but the highs sound fine. The subs are dual 4ohm and are wired to a 4ohm load total load. I tuned the amp to 4...4.7volts as advised in the JL 900/5. The amp blinks amber color which indicated low ohms. I disconnected the front and rear speakers and just the subs to isolate the problem and that seems to be it. The subs are not blow and both meter 4 ohm coils. Is there something that I missed to be sure that I did not do anything wrong?

Cedric Morgan my wife want to get new speakers for her 04 malibu because the factories are going out and we want to get the TR`s so do we need a amp for them or not?because i know most components need a amp boost when using a factory radio.
