Joel Telling Photography I was out and about today shooting some photos for Briana Dobb in the Seattle area. We hit Easy Street Records for the cool inside and Kerry Park for the awesome outside. We took quite a few photos, and after bringing them into the computer, found we had a lot of keepers. Briana is a great model and I thank her for giving me the opportunity.

Joel Telling Photography I went for a short walk the other night and came out with quite a few good photographs. Night time is always tricky to shoot without a flash because of the absence of light - however - a steady hand and creativity pay off big time.

Joel Telling Photography I was lucky enough to be invited up with Tyler (afternoons on 106.1 KISS-FM) and his wife to fly over to Bremerton for lunch. He is a recent recipient of a genuine pilots license, and that goes really well with his desire to soar the friendly skies. A Cesna 172 was our home for about 60 minutes air time. Also, the lunch at the Bremerton airport is FANTASTIC!

Happy New Year!!!
I thought I would start off the new year by showing you something that most people never saw. When Kiss Fm was with CBS, Jackie Cunningham and Bender Cunningham had artists and celebrities sign the wall just outside the studio. Unfortunately, the move to Clear Channel meant the wall was to be painted o...ver. I was able to get some photos of the signatures before they went away.

Joel Telling Photography Craig is a DJ on I-91 FM in the south end. He needed some updated photos and, since his girlfriend Amanda was in town, figured they might be able to step in front of the camera at the same time. We had a great time shooting photos and ended up with some decent keepers!

Joel Telling Photography I picked up some new lights and I needed a test subject. Luckily I have an attractive wife who also didn't mind stepping in front of the camera. I had two light setups to try - one with two strobes, and one with two constants. Both worked flawlessly and produced wonderful images of Mickey Telling that I thought I would share. What do you think?

Joel Telling Photography A belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Sorry it's been fairly silent from the photography side, but as the holidays approach, I'm sure I'll have quite a few festive images to share!
Joel Telling Photography It was time to get some new pictures of the family, so Mickey Telling and I got the kids and camera gear outside for a quick photo sesh. It went really well and the kids behaved, yay! This also gave me a chance for an "official" first attempt at using my strobes in a wireless configuration. I am very happy with the per...formance and I look forward to using them in my next shoot!
Joel Telling Photography I had a quick photoshoot with Kissfm Nightshow today in MLT and Seattle. Both locations gave us fantastic photos - especially with all of the fall colors around us. Thanks for letting me shoot for you Kissfm Nightshow!

Joel Telling Photography I helped supervise a photo field trip to downtown Seattle back in April for my friend Debra Knickerbocker. Her class is awesome and it seemed like they all had a great time shooting Pike Place Market and the Seattle Public Library.
