For the past four years, our Give-It-Away campaign has offered students the chance to help non-profit organizations achieve great things. We take the money that we would have otherwise spent on traditional corporate giveaways, like free pens, and ask you to vote for the non-profit organization that should receive the m...oney instead.

This year, we have a total of $65,000 to donate, and six organizations to choose from. The organization that receives the highest number of votes by December 1, 2009 will receive a $15,000 donation for the holiday season. The overall winner at the end of the voting period in May 2010, will receive $50,000.

The organizations that you can vote for are:

• ASHOKA Innovators for the Public
• El Salvador Project
• Global Fund for Women
• PlayPumps International
• Sandipani Gurukul

We were the first firm to take this approach on campus, and we’re proud of its success. We’ve already donated over $210,000 to many organizations and people across a range of sectors globally, from healthcare to education. Last year’s winner was Gardens for Health International, where the Give-It-Away funds are already at work, helping people living with AIDS and HIV to improve their health, through nutrition from sustainable agriculture.
