Lily Flor I don't know if you have said it before, I'm a new fan you can say but I see some Vangogh influence in your art. I love each and everyone by the way but I most say I have a soft spot for all the black and white ones and I wish I had them all! Would you be doing some traveling soon? Paul Every first Saturday of the month there is what is called the gallery hop in the Short North District of Columbus, Ohio...you should bring your stuff on a road show....just saying...it's a pretty big deal in the area and big on modern art.

Your paintings reach my heart. I've traveled back and forth from Michigan to Iowa for the last 28 years. Each time, I look at the wonderful fields and the changing landscape and wonder how to capture these fleeting places. I know the small family farms are disappearing and many never get the chance to see what s...upported this great country for many years. The dichotomy between the city and the fields is well represented and wonderful to the eye.

"10 Years: Influence and Development" contains about 40 works from Werner and 19 of his students from the last decade. The show is up now and continues through Jan. 9 in the Shook Gallery at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, 102 S. 10th St.
