Hey everyone. Been a long time. Just to update you all on what a couple of us guys from Kairos are doing these days, me and Mark Harvey are now in a band called National Image. Hope you love our music.

National Image

National Image formed back in 2010 when Mark (Vocals) and Cesar (Bass) met at Norwich city college, both of them studying a music degree. After meeting, Mark and Cesar soon started writing songs together, there and then National Image was born. The band played its first gig as an acoustic duo at an Acoustic night at Ol...ive's Cafe, Norwich on the 30th September 2010. When the duo had done a couple of gigs, they talked about expanding the band. So Mark invited Matt (who he knew from his last band) to attend a practice with him, Cesar and a few other guys to jam through a couple of the songs they'd written. It went really well and Matt was soon a part of the band, but they still needed a drummer. Knowing Jon from past musical encounters, Matt and Mark invited him to a practice. As soon as they started playing, they knew the band was complete. After a gruelling couple of weeks searching for a band name, Matt and Mark were with Matt's brother in law when he says, 'What about National Image'. As soon as they heard it, they both loved it, and so did the other two, which was cool! About a week after Jon officially joined the band, they headed to the studio and recorded 5 songs. So Jon didn't really have long to come up with what he was going to play. But Jon being Jon really knocked it out the park and came up with some terrific drumming. Since then they've had several appearances at Norwich venues, been played on BBC radio Norfolk several times, been interviewed at the BBC Norfolk Introducing radio program, have been featured in the BBC Norfolk online magazine VoluMe and played many many gigs in and around Norwich. National Image are currently working on their first EP which will be released later in the year.See More
