Ben Hoy We are Troop 634 and we are looking into taking our boys to Yosemite this year as a high adventure. We want to backpack in, but most of our boys come from lower income families and getting a backpack would be hard on the family financially. Is there anywhere we can go that would lend to the Scouts, or a a store that rents them out?

Kit Carson District Bill Rucker was recently recognized by Boy Scouts of America Kit Carson District for his service on Eagle Scout Boards of Review. Larry McDaniel - Advancement Chairman - and Michael Hall - Eagle Board Chairman - presented Mr. Rucker with a certificate of appreciation for his service on 25 Eagle Scout Boards of Review. ...Mr. Rucker is a strong supporter of the Scouting program and gives generously of his time. The Kit Carson District has been conducting Eagle Scout Boards locally since 2004. The support of Mr. Rucker and others has helped 174 Scouts complete the rank of Eagle Scout. Kit Carson District The annual rechartering system goes online on October 15th this year! Get your packet from your Unit Commissioner, or at Roundtable on October 13th. Completed packets and payment are due on November 10th, at Roundtable.
