One of my favorite things about performing music is just because a person technically plays better, writes better and sings better, that doesn't mean their music feels better or matters more.
I also love having an amazing performance on an absolutely normal night and being completely unprepared for it. It sounds vain but it's nice to selfishly enjoy my own music from time to time.
