Do the X-Marks management/ownership folks monitor this page? That'd be nice....

Robert Lyle

Robert Lyle I have learned so much from reading the forum entries and the articles. I hope to order my first kilt next week if I can set aside some time to drive up to the Tartan Museum in Franklin, NC.

Glen Evans

Glen Evans Joined up because I would like to learn more about kilts / phillabeg in general as I am thinking of joing the ranks of wearers. I am a mutt of Welsh, Scottish and Irish ancestry and am thinking of trying to find both family tartan and ancient tartan and accessories. But have little knowledge of the difference from more modern wear and ancient.

Chrystel Amyot

The yellow "hackles" are dandelions. They were given to the X-Marks gang to ID us throughout the games. I'll be wearing mine to the next games as well.

David Fields My Youngest son just headed off to school kilted. (He's three) He wanted to kick off the Highland Games weekend early. The wee lad has a "brave heart." I love it!

The lad went THREE days solid kilted. (As did his Da.) I believe we have started him out right. Now for the big guy. (my 14-year-old.)

Keep that up and his future high school principal would be hard pressed to repeat what happened a few years ago w/ that other guy.
