Garrett Epp I have been unable to access http://www.xmarksthescot.com/ for two days now. Anyone else having trouble, or should I start taking this personally...?

Robert Lyle I have learned so much from reading the forum entries and the articles. I hope to order my first kilt next week if I can set aside some time to drive up to the Tartan Museum in Franklin, NC.

Glen Evans Joined up because I would like to learn more about kilts / phillabeg in general as I am thinking of joing the ranks of wearers. I am a mutt of Welsh, Scottish and Irish ancestry and am thinking of trying to find both family tartan and ancient tartan and accessories. But have little knowledge of the difference from more modern wear and ancient.

Chrystel Amyot For those who are members of the Scottish Tartans Authority, check in the Member's Area and go to the November issue of the Tartan Herald. The Tartan Herald is the monthly newsletter of the Scottish Tartans Authority.Amongst many articles centered around the tartan you will find one intitled : «*Kiltmaking in the French Alps*».
