Ok Folks,
Here is the first single from our album Seizures, it's called Generation Why. Generation Why was one of the first songs I wrote for the record and after listening back to the demos I found that I really loved the energy of the song and it was the first time I really noticed an evolution in my writing and the Kisschasy sound. There are chords here that we've not used before - really angular guitar leads and jazzy notes. The lyrics in Generation Why are the high point for me. I wrote the song after a few steady nights of drinking with my friends and we were having the typical "the world is so fucked up" conversations at 3am in the morning. After getting home I wrote the song about people who love to complain but aren't willing to do anything to change the things they complain about. I'm definitely one of those people sometimes. Y'know, the type of person who complains about the world food shortage and global warming from the comfort of their heated lounge room.
I believe Generation Why is a good example of the Seizures sound - it's more personal, a little left of center and a huge step forward musically. As our tastes and abilities evolve, so does the Kisschasy sound - I hope you enjoy it.
