Early Detection Saves LIVES! This is horrible. I have known too many young woman (less than 50 yrs old) diagnosed with breast cancer. This is about money. It is sad and I pray everyone still gets and early baseline and keeps on top of their breast health. You must be your own advocate!

There are plenty of young women in their 20s and 30s whose breasts are dense and a traditional exam doesn't cut it. It often goes undiagnosed until late in the game. There needs to be some other type of screening for younger women. It's not as rare an occurence as it seems. Oftentimes, there's a misconception that you need to feel the lump - not ... Read Morealways so. Don't mean to scare anyone - that's the harsh reality. So ladies, if you think something is off, go to the doctor and demand a thorough exam. If the doctor doesn't do a sonogram "just in case", go to another doctor. Stay on top of it!
