Kim St Dennis

Kim St Dennis Can I just chime in with how terrible the BBC News Hour is? Day to Day had a great pace and is sorely missed by this listener.

Funny thing is I enjoy the BBC World Report, just not the News Hour. Its pace is just terrible. They rehash the same topic over and over not really answering any questions. It just seems a long drawn out waste of airtime.

For instance the other morning there was a story on Formula 1 racing in which the racing management wanted to cut spending by the racing teams. Not once did the reporter (Robin Lustig) ask why the racing teams wanted to spend more money. He just seemed to sit and argue the same point with the person he was interviewing. It was an interesting story just not well reported at all.

Thank you and sorry for the rant.

KPCC Los Angeles Times citing city and law enforcement sources: Michael Jackson is dead. He was more than a pop icon -- he was a video innovator, a businessman with triumphs and failures, and had a troubled personal life that became the focus of prosecution and the tabloids. Tell KPCC how you saw him and what his impact was on you.
