Nilar Thein is a Political Prisoner in Burma. She has been imprisoned for 8 years of the last 18 years and is currently serving a sentence of 65 years for campaigning against the Burmese Junta. She is not allowed any visitors, he is not even allowed family visits. Nilar Thein is currently being held in Thayet prison, ...340 miles from her hometown, Rangoon. Her husband Kyaw Min Yu is also imprisoned by the Burmese regime.
