Never again will the British public trust one of David Cameron's cast-iron guarantees. His latest European policy announcement shows he has learned nothing. His bogus plan for 'opt-outs' from Europe is a promise that even he knows he can’t keep.

The great danger is that the Tory line would eventually lead to the UK being a marginalised third rate state on the fringe of Europe. Talk about wanting to walk backwards into the future!

Liam Byrne MP, Labour's Chief Secretary to the Treasury, said in response to David Cameron's speech to Conservative Party conference: "This was an emotive but deceptive speech. It concealed the judgement calls he has consistently got wrong and the real threat of what he would do."

I can understand the point in which Ray is trying to make, i don't believe it is regards to political testament and beliefs more about the control system the bureaucracy if you will. As for island thinking, with the advance in ICT, internet, music and Art. I think this was maybe the opinion of the older generations, growing up in a different era, i... I'm an American and I'm a huge fan of the NHS. As I'm sure you all well know, we're now examining a healthcare system that's a bit closer to yours. Personally, I would love to see America take a few steps down England's path as far as welfare programs. But as long as we've got the Republicans it's going to be a long battle...

And how Steve Kelly has got it so badly wrong ! I don't belong to any of the main parties ! We have Stuart Bell - our Labour MP who keeps a lower profile than a wanted rapist ! A total waste of space. Does nothing for the town ! Then lets look further at what our local Labour council did ! . . . demolished good quality houses after spending a fortune in modernisation and now cannot fund the rebuilding. What did your beloved party do with the UK gold - or come to that, the promised referendum ? ! Your bent and murdeous Blair is one of the main ones to have profiteered from Labours time in power ! An undemocratic diktat with a PM without mantate and bent Mandelsohn brought back without a vote !

GBs announced number of new council houses will not be enough to house the influx of "known" so called asylum seekers that are here ! The UK is a soft touch and Labour has done nothing but enhance that belief !

You really think that a VAT cut to 15% has made any difference ? We have the pound about to collapse . . . we have a crap credit status . . . our money used to bail out the banks who in turn still fail to lend to businesses. ... Read More

Your Labour Party makes me vomit - It's only the work shy and criminals who have benefited from Labour time in power. The sooner that your party of spin (remember as the twin towers dropped - "A good day to bury bad news") is dead and buried, the better !
