Eight months, more than 30 matches, ups and downs, and it all comes down to Sunday evening at Qwest Field in Seattle... yes, dreams do come true...

The MLS Cup Final brings back different memories for members of the Los Angeles Galaxy who have been lucky enough to have been there and now are preparing for Sunday's championship against Real Salt Lake at Qwest Field.

Landon Donovan and David Beckham of the LA Galaxy share their thoughts on playing in Sunday's MLS Cup 2009 in Seattle and the long road taken to make it to Qwest Field.

The first team to reach MLS Cup six times, the Los Angeles Galaxy will take on a team that didn't exist until the season of their last appearance in Major League Soccer's championship game - Real Salt Lake - in MLS Cup 2009.

A year which already has been filled with awards took on another dimension Thursday for the Los Angeles Galaxy's Landon Donovan, who was named Volkswagen MLS Most Valuable Player.

Throughout his years spent with the club, from the highs to the lows, forward Alan Gordon has seen the best and the worst of the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Los Angeles Galaxy Landon Donovan has been awarded the Volkswagen MLS MVP award!

Los Angeles Galaxy defender Tony Sanneh started only five games this season and admittedly didn't get the playing time he would have liked, but it wasn't as disappointing as one might think.

This season's Cup visit is the Galaxy's record sixth trip to the league championship game while the club will be looking for their third MLS Cup title.

The Galaxy's unusual backline duo of Omar Gonzalez and Gregg Berhalter gelled over the course of the season and appears formidable heading to MLS Cup 2009.

All season long, the backbone of the Los Angeles Galaxy has been their defense. And if L.A. is to claim its third MLS Cup in team history, their backline is going to have to once again put the breaks on a high-octane offense, in this case that of Real Salt Lake.
