
Lawrence Public Library The Sunflower Broadband Community Computer Lab, in the lower level of the library, will officially open this Sunday, Nov. 15, with an opening ceremony (brief speeches, tour of lab and information on upcoming classes, and refreshments). 2:30-4pm. Lawrence Public Library Joyce Steiner 1953-2009, Beloved Children’s Librarian. After a brief illness, Joyce Steiner passed away on September 10, 2009. A long-time Lawrence Public Library employee, Joyce was well known to children and families in our community, and was respected in the library community as an innovative librarian.
